Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals in crisis situations
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans
- Offer guidance and mentorship to clients
- Utilize social work and behavioral health principles to address client needs
- Provide addiction counseling and mental health counseling services
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to deescalate potentially dangerous situations
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive change

Skills:
- Crisis management: Ability to effectively handle crisis situations and provide appropriate support
- Mentoring: Ability to guide and mentor individuals, offering support and encouragement
- Social work: Knowledge of social work principles and practices, including case management and advocacy
- Behavioral health: Understanding of behavioral health issues and ability to provide appropriate interventions
- Addiction counseling: Experience in providing counseling services for individuals struggling with addiction
- Mental health counseling: Proficient in offering counseling services for individuals with mental health concerns
- Systems: Familiarity with systems theory and ability to navigate complex systems to access resources for clients
- Crisis intervention: Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and ability to implement them effectively
- Motivational interviewing: Skill in using motivational interviewing techniques to promote behavior change
